AUTHENTICATION DEVICE AND AUTHENTICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a user and to improve security performance. SOLUTION: A wide angle camera picks up an authentication image and a monitored image, and when a human detection sensor detects an authentication object person, an authentication processing part makes a storing part store authentication record information including a personal ID on the basis of a collation result between the authentication image and registered information. The picked-up image is subjected to face collation by a monitoring processing part and then stored as image record information in the storing part, and a classification processing part is configured to classify the image record information on the basis of the personal ID, and a display processing part is configured to display the classified image record information on a display part.
