Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint having excellent sliding characteristics and vibration control characteristics and capable of suppressing the accuracy degradation of the spherical center of a spherical head. SOLUTION: The ball joint 1 comprises a ball stud 10 having a shank 11 and the spherical head 12, and a socket 15 holding the spherical head 12 of the ball stud 10 in a swingingly turnable manner. A resin sheet 16 and a rubber sheet 17 are interposed between the spherical recessed surface 14 of the socket 15 and the spherical head 12 of the ball stud 10 held therein, and a plurality of displacement restraining members 18 higher in hardness than that of a rubber material which forms the rubber sheet 17 and restraining relative motion between the spherical head 12 and the socket 15 are embedded at predetermined spaces in the rubber sheet 17.
