Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a highly precise and inexpensive cylindrical component without any round edge in a corner part in a series of forming stages. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the cylindrical component comprises steps of; making a through hole smaller than the inside measure of the cylindrical part on a metallic plate material; forming the cylindrical part by pressing the peripheral part of the through hole; forming the inner peripheral corner edge part in the top part by pressing the top part of the cylindrical part; forming the inner peripheral corner edge part in the base part of the cylindrical part by pressing the base part of the cylindrical part; next, forming the outer peripheral corner edge part in the top part of the cylindrical portion with a shaving die; forming the outer peripheral part of the cylindrical portion succeedingly; and then being cut off from the metallic plate material while forming the outer peripheral corner edge part in the base part of the cylindrical portion, thereby obtaining the cylindrical component.
