METHOD OF REPLACING OVERHEAD GROUND WIRE AND HANGING PULLEY DEVICE USED IN METHOD OF REPLACING OVERHEAD GROUND WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of replacing an overhead ground wire wherein it is unnecessary to use a self-propelled device for extending a snatch block by a pilot rope and invert a snatch block between a new overhead ground wire and an existing overhead ground wire, and it is possible to reduce of hours of work and save working labor; and a hanging pulley device used in a method for replacing an overhead ground wire. SOLUTION: The method of replacing an overhead ground wire is for replacing an existing overhead ground wire strung between steel towers with a new one. The method includes the steps of installing a circle snatch block as a hanging pulley device on an existing overhead ground wire in a planned disposing position when the overhead transmission line is dead, and respectively fastening a pair of snatch block ropes extended from the circle snatch block to a pair of left and right main overhead transmission lines; reducing the tension of the existing overhead ground wire to hang the existing overhead ground wire from the overhead transmission lines; replacing the existing overhead ground wire with a new one; tensioning it after the new overhead ground wire is installed; and recovering the hanging pulley device.
