READER, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION READING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader, an information processing system and an information reading method whose operability is made satisfactory, and whose configuration is made simple and compact. SOLUTION: The code image of an information recording medium 3 is irradiated with an infrared ray from an infrared LED lamp 420, and the code image is picked up by an imaging part 43, and the code is read from the picked-up code image, and temporarily stored in a memory. Afterwards, when a transmission button is operated, the code is read from the memory, and transmitted to an information processor 5 by using the infrared LED lamp 420 which is identical to that for reading.
