Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level sensor which can be made up by diverting a lot of existing parts and facilities while maintaining its function and performance, wherein a float is disposed opposite to its conventional position with respect to the rotation center of an arm in the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: The sensor includes: the arm 2 which has the float at its head section and turns in accordance with changes in a liquid level; and a frame which supports the arm 2 turnably, and to which a wiring board 5 is attached. The float is disposed opposite to the wiring board 5 with respect to the rotation center of the arm 2 in the horizontal direction. The wiring board 5 has a first conductor pattern 17 and a second conductor pattern 18 extending vertically, and the first conductor pattern 17 is connected to a negative terminal of a power supply, and the second conductor pattern 18 is connected to a positive terminal of the power supply. The arm 2 has a first contact 13 and a second contact 14 which respectively slide on a first conductor plate 7 and a second conductor plate 10 and are connected electrically with each other. The liquid level is detected based on current flowing between the first conductor pattern 17 and the second conductor pattern 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
