Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of greasing work efficiency and lubricating ability of a double Cardan joint by forming a constant velocity universal joint as a dual type. SOLUTION: This dual type constant velocity universal joint has two constant velocity universal joints each comprising a cylindrical outer ring 1 formed with a plurality of axially extended guide grooves 1b on a spherical inner peripheral surface; an inner ring 2 formed with a plurality of axially extended guide grooves 2b on a spherical outer peripheral surface; torque transmission balls disposed one by one in a plurality of ball tracks formed by the cooperation of the guide grooves 1b of the outer ring 1 and the guide grooves 2b of the inner ring 2; and a cage 5 for holding the balls 4. The outer rings 1 are coaxially integrated back to back with each other, and spaces between the opening side outer peripheral surfaces of the outer rings 1 and shafts 3, 10 connected to the inner rings 2 are covered with boots 8 with metal rings.
