Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a gas turbine in which the rise of the rotational speed of a gas turbine is easily suppressed even if the power generation plant uses a low calorific gas as a fuel when a load on the gas turbine suddenly falls. SOLUTION: This control system comprises a fuel flow control valve 9 disposed in a fuel gas feed passage 3 for feeding a fuel gas into a gas turbine 2 and controlling the flow of the fuel gas, a gas feeder 5 for heat reduction supplying a gas for heat reduction to the fuel gas supply passage 3, and a system controller 10. Since the system controller 10 lowers an input heat quantity to the gas turbine 2 when it detects the sudden lowering of a load to the gas turbine 2, a gas feeding operation for heat reduction is controlled by the gas feeder 5 for heat reduction in addition to the control of the opening of the fuel flow control valve 9.
