MANUFACTURING DEVICE AND METHOD OF RECORDING SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet which enables to protect the cracking of the non-constant region, irrespective of the coating liquid composition and the conditions of the coating process and without influencing badly on the quality of the constant region of the coloring material acceptance layer. SOLUTION: The method is to apply a water soluble resin locally with a pin-point coating device 18 onto a non-constant region which cracks easily in the dry atmosphere compared to a constant region, namely onto at least one area among the starting area of the coating application of the coating liquid 12, the end area of the coating application and both sides, all on the coloring acceptance layer 12A, thus the method can regulate the quantity of the cross linking agent added in advance to the coating liquid 12, or the quantity of the cross linking agent coated entirely on the surface of the coloring material acceptance layer just sufficiently small so as to be able to protect the cracking of the constant region.
