Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus by which appropriate scanogram without defect can be acquired even if the X-ray CT apparatus has an asymmetrical shape X-ray detector. SOLUTION: This X-ray CT apparatus is equipped with an X-ray detector which has first and second ends in a direction orthogonally crossing the body axis of a subject and the X-ray irradiation axis, the first end is positioned nearer to the X-ray irradiation axis than the second end is and the second end is positioned further from the X-ray irradiation axis than the first end is. The CT apparatus acquires projection data from the first direction and projection data from the second direction, and superimposes projection data corresponding to the first direction and the second direction to produce one scan range setting image. The X-ray CT apparatus is equipped also with a floodlight means to indicate the X-ray irradiating range to the first end side and the second end side by floodlighting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
