SOLUTION: In the content providing apparatus 10, a content index ID, content index information, and content information are generated to be provided to each information providing apparatus. When the portable terminal 50 acquires the content index ID from a content index ID transmitter 20, it receives content index information corresponding to the acquired content index ID from a content index transmitter 30; and then receives the content information corresponding to the received content index from a content transmitter 40.
