Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film which is reduced in the number of oligomers after being stored at room temperature and good in characteristics as various magnetic recording media, especially as a vapor deposition magnetic recording medium, when used for a base substrate. SOLUTION: In the laminated film comprising at least two polyester layers, the ratio RaA/RaBof the center line average surface roughness RaAof a polyester layer A constituting one surface to the center line average surface roughness RaBof a polyester layer B on the opposite surface side is 0.05-0.7. The content of a cyclic compound of the polyester layer B is 0.8 wt.% or below, and the difference between the intrinsic viscosity of the polyester layer B and that of the polyester layer A is below 0.1.
