SPIN-DRYING WASHING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin-drying washing machine which can cool windings used in a motor stator and the solenoid of a clutching mechanism, which will possibly undergo a temperature rise, by using the structure of an existing motor. SOLUTION: A vent 56 is formed and a vane 57 is provided in an existing rotor side molding of a driving electric motor such as the core 28a of a DD inverter motor 27 used in a driving unit 23A. The vane 57 and the vent 56 function as a cooling fan with the driving of the driving unit 23A, and the rotor side molding is cooled by air streams which may possibly be caused especially during the operation of a drying function when warm air is blown into a spin-drying tub and sucked and delivered by a stator winding of the motor 27 and the electromagnetic solenoid 26a of the clutching mechanism 26 from outside of the vent 56. The vane 57 serves as a reinforcing rib of a rotor side molding and therefore can increase the strength of the rotator side molding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
