DISC REPRODUCING DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to improve operability of a remote controller by assigning, to an operation key for dictating an operation of a disc reproducing device, a function to dictate a plurality of operations associated with the operation to thereby make the operation key versatile, thus decreasing the number of the operating keys. SOLUTION: During reproducing video and audio data recorded on an optical disc, when a CM skip key has been pushed which skips, for a given period of time, reproduction of CM of the reproducing video and audio data, it is judged whether or not the CM skip key has been pushed for a given period of time or longer, the video and audio data recorded on the optical disc are reproduced based on the result judged.
