SPEAKER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system that enables its speakers to be properly and easily relocated for a viewing and listening position. SOLUTION: The speaker system is equipped with m speakers arranged around in the living room of a house, a multi-channel sound source (multi-channel sound source of a sound source unit) that contains n channels (wherein, n is smaller than m) and is arranged in the living room, and a sound source connection unit (connection switching box) that switches and connects the m speakers to the multi-channel sound source. Furthermore, the sound source connection unit (connection switching box) is equipped with the n sets of the sound source-end connection terminals to which sound signals from the multi-channel sound source for n multi-channels are inputted, the m sets of the speaker-end connection terminals that distribute the sound signals to the m speakers, and an assigning circuit that specifies x speakers by connecting the sound source-end connection terminals to the x terminals (x is above n but below m) out of the speaker-end connection terminals.
