Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging device capable of avoiding darkening phenomenon, while suppressing the scale of a circuit to be small. SOLUTION: A darkening detection circuit 30A is realized with a layout area suppressed to minimum, using a simple circuit configuration added to a simple digital circuit, for example, a latch circuit 32 consisting of one NAND circuit 41, one inverter 42, and two switch elements 43 and 44, using the existing DAC18, comparator 21, and AND circuit 22 used with column parallel ADC.
