Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing rotary electronic components that commonalizes a slider used for a semi-fixed variable resistor of rear- and double-sided adjustment types, and can be manufactured easily and made inexpensive. SOLUTION: The slider 40 is prepared, and has a slider body section 41 having slide contact sections 49, 44 that are in slide contact with slide contact patterns 13, 17 formed on a substrate 10, and a tool engagement plate section 55 for fronts that is connected to the slider body section 41 for integrating with the slider body section 41. In the case of the manufacturer of the rotary electronic component 1-1 in the double-sided adjustment type for rotating the slider 40 from the rear- and front-surface sides of the substrate 10, the slider 40-1, which is manufactured by a process for bending the tool engagement plate section 55 for fronts of the slider 40 to the upper surface side of the slider body section 41, is used. When manufacturing the rotary electronic component 1-2 in the rear-side adjustment type for rotating the slider 40 from the rear-surface side of the substrate 10, the slider 40-2, which is manufactured by a process for separating the tool engagement plate section 55 for fronts from the slider body section 41 of the slider 40, is used.
