Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of performing imaging near a center of an optical system while achieving a short processing time even when imaging a small component by use of the long one-dimensional imaging device coping with even the imaging of a large component. SOLUTION: This imaging device has: a light receiving element array 121 wherein a plurality of light receiving elements form a line; a shift register 122 for dividing charges from each the light receiving element into two areas and outputting them; a shift gate 123 for permitting or not permitting transfer of the charges generated by each the light receiving element to the shift register in each the area; the optical system 125; a first light shielding means 130 having three light shielding plates 131 light-shielding a portion corresponding to a boundary vicinity of the areas of the shift register 122 and both end parts of the light receiving element array 121; a second light shielding means 130 having three light shielding plates having a light-shielded range different from the first light shielding means 130; and a changeover means 137 for changing over between the first light shielding means 130 and the second light shielding means 130.
