COLOR FILTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for which arrangement of a partition wall layer is unnecessary because resist processing is not conducted, and of which the tint is not lowered and in which turbidity is not produced, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The color filter has a fine pore structure on a substrate and has any one coloring agent of red, green, and blue coloring agents in each of the fine pores. The manner in which the fine pore structure corresponds to a honeycomb-like porous structure fabricated by self-assembly is preferable. The method for manufacturing the color filter includes steps of forming the fine pore structure, by applying a coating liquid containing an organic solvent and a polymer compound to the substrate, forming liquid drops in the obtained film, and vaporizing the organic solvent and the liquid drops so as to form the fine pore structure having pores in the film; and to make the red, green, and blue coloring agents contained inside the pores of the obtained fine pore structure.
