DRAIN TRAP AND WASHING MACHINE PAN WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap which allows a perforated plate to be removed smoothly and easily without removing a joint member, which connects a drain unit of a washing machine to a drain trap body, from the drain trap body. SOLUTION: The drain trap 1 includes the drain trap body 2 having an opening on its upper face, which opening takes in wastewater flowing in from the drain unit of the washing machine, the joint member 12 which is formed to extend from the inside of the drain trap body 2 to project upward from an opening flange 18 and connects the drain unit of the washing machine to the drain trap body 2, and the perforated plate 10 which is fitted removably on the opening flange 18 of the drain trap body 2. The perforated plate 10 has a joint opening 20 formed in its approximate center, in which opening 20 the joint member 12 can be inserted, and perforated plate 10 can be divided into at least two members consisting of a male member 10a and a female member 10b along a plurality of dividing faces F1, F2 extending from given positions A1, A2 on the inner peripheral surface of the joint opening 20 to the outer periphery of the perforated plate 10.
