DRAIN TRAP AND WASHING MACHINE PAN WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap which allows perforated plates to be removed smoothly and easily without being turned relative to a drain trap body. SOLUTION: The drain trap 1 includes the drain trap body 2, and the perforated plates 10a, 10b which are fitted removably and vertically on the inner periphery 18a of an opening flange of the drain trap body 2 and has a joint opening 20 formed in the approximate center of the perforated plates 10a, 10b, in which joint opening 20 a joint member 12 can be inserted. The drain trap body 2 has drain trap body side upper projections 26 projecting from the inner periphery of the opening flange. The perforated plates 10a, 10b has elastic locking projections 34 which are so formed on the outer periphery of the perforated plates 10a, 10b as to correspond in position to the drain trap body side upper projections 26. The drain trap body side upper projections 26 and the elastic locking projections 34 are locked onto each other to hold the perforated plates 10a, 10b when the perforated plates 10a, 10b are set in the drain trap body 2. When the perforated plates 10a, 10b are fitted into or removed from the drain trap body 2, on the other hand, the elastic locking projections 34 deform elastically to release it from the drain trap body side upper projections 26.
