STICKING-BY-PRESSURE PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sticking-by-pressure paper producible at low cost, good in printability and writability, having a combination of sticking-by-pressure tendency with easy releasability, high in water resistance without damaging recorded information provided thereon even in case of getting wet, enabling pressed surface to be easily released when needed, and capable of surely reading information printed on the pressed surface. SOLUTION: The sticking-by-pressure paper is such that at least one of the obverse and reverse faces of substrate paper is furnished with an adhesive layer. In the sticking-by-pressure paper, the substrate paper contains ≥40 mass% of waste paper pulp, with the proportion of chemical pulp in the total pulp being ≥50 mass%, and is made from stock pulp beaten to such an extent the Canadian freeness in compliance with JIS P 8120 test piece and disaggregation falls within the range from 350 to 600 mL, and the adhesive layer is formed of an adhesive composition essentially comprising a binder component, a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol and a polyethylene glycol.
