Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economically excellent method for simply producing a porous film lightweight, scarcely producing ash in burning, excellent in water vapor permeability, and to provide a porous film obtained by using the method. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for producing the porous film comprising mixing 2-50% mass of a thermoplastic resin (A) with MFR 1.5-10.0 g/10 min with 50-98% mass of a different thermoplastic resin with MFR 20-50 g/10 min, in a molten state and forming the mixed thermoplastic resin in molten state into film, and then drawing the film.
