Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and inexpensively protect an operator from danger to the utmost particularly during a critical printing process, that is, a printing process dangerous to the operator, especially in a region on the attachment side of a roll changer by providing a roll changer, which is provided with a protection device to fragments of a roll sleeve, for a printer. SOLUTION: The roll changer is provided with the protection device for intercepting fragments when the roll sleeve (6) bursts. The protection device is composed, for example, by mounting a capturing grid fixed to a frame structure (11) to a slide stand (2) or by forming it as a protection metal piece (14) provided to a roll stand (10).
