Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having high planarity which can be used for a polarizing plate protection film of a liquid crystal display device (LCD), a retardation film or the like, and also can be utilized for various functional films or the like, and a manufacturing method for the optical film through a melt-casting process. SOLUTION: When the glass transition temperature of an amorphous thermoplastic resin is defined as Tg, the temperature T1 of the film at the discharge port of a casting die 4 is within the range of temperature represented by formula Tg+60°C
