WINDING/CENTERING DEVICE OF HOT-ROLLING EQUIPMENT AND CENTERING METHOD OF STEEL SHEET USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding/centering device of hot-rolling equipment with which occurrence of troubles such as miss roll is reduced by preventing a steel sheet from running on to a side guide. SOLUTION: The steel sheet is prevented from lifting by pressing down the edge parts 2b in the width direction of the steel sheet 2 by jetting a high-pressure fluid in the same direction as the conveying direction of the steel sheet 2 and downward from fluid jetting nozzles 11 provided in the upper part of the side guide 5. In this way, the steel sheet 2 is prevented from running on to the side guide 5 from the edge part 2b in the width direction. Furthermore, the time and the cost spent for restoration of the troubles are also reduced since the occurrence of troubles such as the miss roll is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
