Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for treating the washing wastewater of the gas, which is formed by the pyrolysis of combustible waste such as a waste plastic, shredder dust, etc., using activated sludge. SOLUTION: The pyrolytic gas formed by the pyrolysis of combustible waste is washed with water and the obtained wastewater after washing is separated into a water phase, tar and an oil component phase on the basis of specific gravity. The water phase is recovered as specific gravity separated water and the pH of the specific gravity separated water is adjusted to 8-12 to sediment, separate and remove heavy metals contained in the specific gravity separated water while the water obtained after sedimentation and separation is subjected to activated sludge treatment.
