LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that not only prevents a production yield from lowering for a variation of resin amount, but also prevents a reflective material from being peeled off from a substrate. SOLUTION: The device has a plane substrate 2, a synthetic-resin reflective material 31, and a transparent resin material 37 containing a phosphor. The substrate 2 comprises multiple light emitting areas 5 where multiple light emitting diodes 7 are placed in lines and lock sockets are provided at the backside, a first slit provided between light emitting areas, a lock socket 14 provided at the backside of the outside area of a surrounding of an area occupied by the light emitting area and the first slit, a second slit 11 provided at the above outside area, and a first/second conductive pattern which is provided with a pattern terminal avoiding the second slit and is continuously placed at one end or the other end of each light emitting area 5. The reflective material 31 is not only mounted on the substrate covering the above outside area and each light emitting area, but also provided with multiple lock section 34 locked with the sockets 14 through each slit and multiple holes 32 for accommodating diodes 7.
