HEATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device capable of suppressing the temperature rise of liquid over a final target temperature even under the conditions that the final target temperature of the liquid is high. SOLUTION: The heating device comprises a burner 7 for burning fuel, and a heat exchanger 15 using combustion heat generated by the burner 7, as a heat source, for heating the liquid. A control means 36 sets a provisional set temperature lower than a set temperature on condition that the set temperature of the liquid flowing out of the heat exchanger 15 is set higher than a reference temperature, and controls the combustion amount of the burner 7. When a cumulative value for the amount of water flowing into the heat exchanger 15 reaches a predetermined reference flow amount after starting combustion operation with a heating target temperature as the provisional set temperature, the control means 36 changes over the heating target temperature into the set temperature.
