Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence which prevents a reflector from protruding from a crosspiece, and exerts good visibility only by mounting the crosspiece. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the guard fence, resin coats 4, 6 inclusive of a light reflecting agent 5 are formed on an external surface of the crosspiece, and glass beads 7 are attached to a surface of the resin coats. Therefore the reflector does not protrude from the crosspiece, and the guard fence exerts good visibility irrespective of a mounting direction of the crosspiece thereon. Further, light passing through the glass beads on the surface of the resin coats is reflected by the light reflecting agent 5 contained in the resin coats, and therefore in addition to light falling on the glass beads 7 on the coat surface and reflected by the same, light passing through the glass beads on the coat surface is effectively usable to improve the visibility. Furthermore if the plurality of crosspieces are arranged in parallel with each other in the horizontal direction, on supports separate from each other, light reflected by each crosspiece falls on the other crosspiece and further reflected, which leads to further improvement of the visibility.
