Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an opaque fiber product by which excellent opacity with excellent washing resistance is imparted to a fiber material, the lack of hiding of a lining, an underwear or the like of a white to light-colored fiber product is prevented, and the generation of a metal mark is suppressed; and to provide an opaque fiber product obtained thereby. SOLUTION: The method for producing the opaque fiber product involves imparting to a fiber material an aqueous dispersion containing titanium oxide and a polyurethane resin obtained by dispersing an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer obtained by reacting (a) a polyisocyanate with (b) a polyol in water by using (c) a nonionic surfactant having 7-16 HLB value, and subjecting the resultant dispersion to chain-extension reaction with a polyamine compound having two or more amino groups and/or imino groups.
