Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an opaque fiber product by which excellent opacity with excellent washing resistance is imparted to a fiber material, the lack of hiding of a lining, an underwear or the like of a white to light-colored fiber product is prevented, and the generation of a metal mark are suppressed, and also to provide an opaque fiber product obtained thereby. SOLUTION: The method for producing the opaque fiber product involves imparting an aqueous dispersion containing titanium oxide and a polyurethane resin having an anionic group to a fiber material.
