Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyimide resin useful for a retardation film due to actualization of a wide view angle of a liquid crystal display and prevention of discoloration of screen. SOLUTION: The polyimide resin comprises an essential component of 2,2-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropanoic acid dianhydride (6FDA) as an acid dianhydride being the raw material of polymerization of the polyimide resin and one or several kinds of 4,4'-oxybisphthalic anhydride (ODPA), 3,3',4,4'-benzophenone tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (BTDA), 9,9-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)fluorene acid dianhydride and bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)sulfone dianhydride as other acid dianhydrides.
