COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of transmitting user-specific additional information to one's communication party easily in addition to presence information. SOLUTION: The communication terminal includes a presence information setting means 25 for setting the presence information containing a display name; a storage section 17 for storing the presence information; a presence information notification means 22a for notifying other communication terminals of the presence information; an additional information setting means 29 capable of registering additional information at the storage section in advance, when adding the additional information to the presence one; and an additional information decision means 30 capable of selecting prescribed additional information from the additional one stored in the storage section 17. In this case, as main features, the display name having the additional information is generated from the additional information and the display name by the presence information setting means 25, and the presence information containing the display name having the additional information is notified to other communication terminals by the presence information notification means 25.
