Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems wherein, in an electrostatic dust precipitator comprising an ionization means using discharge, a dust precipitation part comprising voltage applying electrodes and grounding electrodes, and an air blower in this order, dust introduced into the dust precipitator is charged by the ionization means, and removed in a dust precipitation part of a subsequent stage forming an electric field by laminating flat plate electrodes with certain spaces and applying a voltage, while cigarette smoke contains much tar, carbon and moisture, which adhere on the surfaces of the dust precipitation part and form a conductive film, abolish charge on the surfaces of the dust precipitation part, to lower the dust precipitation performance. SOLUTION: The completely insulated grounding electrode 4 formed by coating the entire grounding electrode 1 consisting of a sheet-like conductor with a sheet-like insulating body 2, and the voltage applying electrode 5 consisting of a sheet-like conductor and with plus or minus voltage applied thereto are alternately laminated sandwiching a corrugated sheet 11 having insulating properties therebetween to constitute the dust precipitation part 7, and a silicone polymer film is provided over the entire dust precipitation part 7.
