Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a photocatalytic body at a low cost, in which a photocatalyst particle intrudes uniformly into the surface layer and depths of a base material and is bonded firmly to the base material. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the photocatalytic body comprises a step of fixing the photocatalyst particle to the surface layer of the inorganic porous base material to be manufactured by firing, namely, baking and fixing the photocatalyst particle to the surface layer of the inorganic porous base material at a step of cooling the fired inorganic porous base material.
