PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability of an image information processing apparatus in selecting areas within an image. SOLUTION: The image information processing apparatus includes: a first image information output part 12 for outputting first image information by means of an image display window; an area designation instruction accepting part 14 for accepting an instruction to create an area designation window and an instruction to move the area designation window; an area designation window output part 15 for outputting the area designation window according to the instruction to create the area designation window and for moving the area designation window according to the instruction to move the area designation window; a setting instruction accepting part 16 for accepting setting instructions; an execution instruction area constructing part 17 for constructing execution instruction area setting information for setting an area within the area designation window of the first image information as an execution instruction area according to the setting instructions; and an execution instruction constructing part 18 for constructing, according to the setting instructions, execution instruction information which is outputted upon the designation of the execution instruction area.
