JOINT STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR BLOCK FOR PAVEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a block for pavement, excellent in constructibility, which requires little labor when grooving is applied to the block on a job site, and which facilitates the positioning of the block and a connecting member. SOLUTION: In this joint structure of the block for pavement, planes of fitting grooves 2, which are formed in the side or corner parts of the blocks 1 for pavement, adjacent to each other via a joint, are formed in an approximate arch shape in the side part and formed in an approximate fan shape at the corner part; the connecting member 5 for being fitted into the fitting grooves 2 is equipped with a horizontal plate 6 which has a plane in an approximately circular shape, an approximately polygonal shape or the like, and which is inserted into the fitting groove 2; and an upright plate 7 or a suspended plate 8 for regulating the width of the joint is formed on the upside or downside of the horizontal plate 6.
