INJECTION MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding method which reinforces a part needing strength and rigidity and obtains a molding light in weight and excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: The method comprises a semi-solid resin insertion process for inserting a GMT blank of a softened semi-solid long-glass fiber-reinforced resin into a mold, a press molding process for forming a pressed molding from the GMT blank by mold-clamping/compressing the semi-solid resin, a cavity forming process for forming a cavity in the mold, a resin injection process in which the lengths of the glass fibers are regulated by melting/kneading the reinforced resin, and the molten resin is injected into the cavity, an overmolding process for overmolding the periphery of the pressed molding in the cavity to cover it with the molten resin, and a foaming process in which a foaming material is added into the reinforced resin during the overmolding process, and the reinforced resin is foamed in the cavity.
