PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care device: firstly, non-obstructing to bathing of a healthy subject; secondly, capable of responding to each body situation and degree of disability of an elderly and a physically disabled, thirdly; making a single bathtub widely usable thereby; and fourthly, simplifying and facilitating its disposal work in the bathtub. SOLUTION: This care device 1 is provided with, for example, two vertical mount holes 4 disposed at the upper edges of right/left bathtub walls 6 at a front/rear interval B apart, and a handrail 5 having, for example, two pendant parts 7 inserted and locked to the vertical mount holes 4. The vertical mount holes 4 on the right/left bathtub walls 6 are oppositely positioned to each other, and the right/left opposite interval C and the front/rear interval B are formed into the same dimension. The handrail 5 is selectably usably formed so that the pendant parts 7 can be inserted and locked between the vertical mount holes 4 of either of the right/left bathtub walls 6, or the pendant parts 7 can be inserted and locked between the oppositely positioned vertical mount holes 4 of the both right/left bathtub walls 6.
