Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module capable of effectively cooling a center part and terminal parts at either end of an accumulator even at application for a stationary power source, and restraining degradation of life characteristics due to increase of heat storage. SOLUTION: The battery module is provided with a battery group 14 integrated by inserting both ends of a plurality of nickel metal hydride batteries 11 into a plurality of through-holes 13 fitted to two sheets of support plates 12, a plurality of connecting plates 15 serially connecting terminals in turn at both end faces of adjacent nickel metal hydride batteries, a case part 19 covering four faces of two top and bottom faces of the battery group and side faces where the support plates 12 are arranged and in contact with at least lower edges of the support plates 12, a front face part 21 arranged at one open face of the case 19 with a vent-hole 20 formed, and a rear face part 23 arranged at the other open face of the case part 19 and fitted with a fan 22.
