KARAOKE MACHINE CHARACTERIZED IN REPRODUCTION CONTROL OVER MODEL SINGING OF CHORUS MUSIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke machine which decides which vocal part of chorus music a singer is singing and controls the sound volume of a model vocal corresponding to the vocal part to mix the singing voice of the singer with model vocals of other vocal parts properly. SOLUTION: The karaoke machine includes a storage means, a karaoke reproducing means, and a control means. The storage means stores karaoke musical piece data of the chorus music including model singing data of a plurality of vocal parts, the karaoke reproducing means includes a singing reproducing means of reproducing the model singing data, and the singing reproducing means controls reproduced sound volume by the vocal parts of the model singing data as instructed by the control means. The control means, when making the karaoke reproducing means reproduce the karaoke musical piece data of the chorus music, performs vocal part decision processing for deciding whether which of the plurality of vocal parts a singing voice signal approximates, and sound volume control processing for instructing the singing reproducing means lower reproduced sound volume of the decided vocal part.
