Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component aligning packaging container that can be supplied to an existing mounting device while terminal pins are kept upright in position, and to provide a pin mounting method. SOLUTION: The component aligning tape 30 includes a tape 31 accommodating the terminal pins 1 arranged in a line in the lengthwise direction of the tape 30, and a cover sheet 32 covering the upper parts of the terminal pins 1 accommodated in the tape 31. The tape 31 has mounts 33 tapered recess for accommodating the terminal pins 1, one for each, which are formed at regular intervals in the lengthwise direction of the tape 31. Each of the mounts 33 includes a tapered conical cylindrical portion 34 which is open at the top and bottom, and a diaphragm portion 35 slightly sharply inclined from the bottom of the conical cylindrical portion 34. Each mount 33 also includes a bottomed tubular pin support portion 36 formed so as to be continuous with the lower end of the diaphragm portion 35 and having a small diameter.
