STENCIL SCREEN PLATEMAKING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stencil screen platemaking equipment of a thermal platemaking method which is capable of responding to a wide range of fabric frame sizes and can take a large-sized screen stretched fabric frame as an object of platemaking even when the equipment is small in size and which hardly causes elongation of a screen in platemaking and enables attainment of a high platemaking precision. SOLUTION: A thermal head holding frame 1 to which a thermal head 10 is fitted and a platen roller holding frame 2 which is equipped with a platen roller 20 opposite to the thermal head 10 and with a stepping motor 5 are provided oppositely so that the thermal head 10 and the platen roller 20 can be separated from and brought into contact with each other. In the state wherein the thermal head 10 and the platen roller 20 are separated, a block copy material W is disposed between the two holding frames 1 and 2 and the screen S is held fast between the thermal head 10 and the platen roller 20. By driving the platen roller 20 to rotate, the block copy material W is moved to be subjected to the platemaking, with the thermal head 10 kept at a fixed position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
