PRESS BRAKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press brake capable of positioning a workpiece while individually moving right and left movable back gauges, and capable of positioning the workpiece while moving a stretch which is long in a right and left direction. SOLUTION: The press brake is provided with a plurality of movable back gauges 63 individually movable in forward/backward, right/left, and upward/downward directions. The movable back gauges 63 are used for positioning a workpiece, which is to be bent with upper and lower dies 39, 41 mounted on upper and lower tables 35, 37 respectively, in the forward/backward direction. The press brake is also provided with a stretch 69, which is long in the right/left direction and is attachable/detachable to the movable back gauges 63. The stretch 69 is provided with a plurality of fixed back gauges 73, whose positions are adjustable. The stretch 69 is provided so as to be freely retractable into a stretch housing part 79, which is provided between right and left side frames 33R, 33L and at the rear position of the lower table 37.
