Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous production system for mass-producing a braid-like capturing material of a metal in seawater, especially the capturing material which has the high grafting ratio and the high density of the amidoxime group to recover the metal in seawater. SOLUTION: A polymer synthesizing material, especially polyethylene, is irradiated in the state of yarns by an electron beam irradiation apparatus 2, and is wound around a bobbin by a winding apparatus 3; irradiated yarns wound around the bobbin are received in a reaction tank 11 to be graft polymerized; a functional group having the metal capturing capability is incorporated and is dried in a drying tank 12; and thereafter polymer synthesizing yarns are knit up in the shape of braid by a yarn twisting apparatus to produce the capturing material. A spinning apparatus 1 can be also provided so that the polymer synthesizing material are irradiated with radiation while the pellets of the polymer synthesizing material are melt-spun and wound around the bobbin.
