OPTIMUM PATH SELECTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously switch paths in an LDP without causing a loop state. SOLUTION: A label assignment message receiving means 6 receives a label assignment message including path vector TLV information from all adjacent nodes. The received label information and the path vector TLV information are registered and managed by a passage node information path managing means 10. When a line fault occurs; a passage node information path selecting means 8 selects the path vector TLV information which does not include the identifier of an own node from the path vector TLV information registered in the passage node information path managing means 10, determines an optimum path based on the information, and switches the paths without causing the loop state in a network.
