TICKET EXAMINATION MACHINE, TICKET EXAMINATION SYSTEM AND TICKET EXAMINATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket examination machine which can switch ticket examination modes in response to a sudden change of a flow of people. SOLUTION: This ticket examination machine installed along a ticket examination passage comprises a first ticket examination machine processing means for reading boarding information stored in an information storage medium presented on one end of the ticket examination passage, determining propriety of passing based on the boarding information, and controlling passing of a passing person from one end of the ticket examination passage to the other end; a second ticket examination processing means for reading the boarding information stored in the information storage medium presented at the other end side of the ticket examination passage, determining propriety of passing based on the boarding information, and controlling passing of the passing person from the other end of the ticket examination passage to the first end, and a ticket examination control means for stopping ticket examination processing by one of the first and second ticket examination means for a predetermined time based on ticket examination process situation by the first and second ticket examination means and prioritizing ticket examination by the other means for a predetermined time.
