DESIGN SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system whose developing efficiency is satisfactory for designing a compressor and a metal mold to be used for manufacturing the compressor without depending on the knowledge/experience of a man of experience. SOLUTION: This design support system for supporting the design of a compressor by using a computer is provided with: a rule storing means 4 for storing a compressor design rule 13 and a metal mold design rule 16; an input means 5 for inputting the design origin of the compressor; a compressor structure data generating means 11 for generating compressor structure data 14 based on a design origin 12 input by the input means and the compressor design rule 13 stored in the rule storing means; and a metal mold design data generating means 15 for generating metal mold design data 17 based on the metal mold design rule 16 stored in the rule storing means 4 and the compressor structure data 14.
