Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for measuring contamination of a fluid, that is small, is easily manufactured, and has sufficient sensitivity when measuring a fluid with low contamination. SOLUTION: The instrument comprises a light source for directing a light beam via a fluid tested toward the reflecting surface, and a sensor for detecting the light reflected on the reflecting surface and returned via the tested fluid and outputting a signal indicating the turbidity of the tested fluid.
